It is with magnanimous joy, we invite the students and parents of the Samadhi Dhamma School, to this Sunday's special session conducted by Bhante Henepola Gunaratana of the Bhavana Society, West Virginia

It is a rare opportunity for Samadhi Dhamma School students of all ages to listen and learn from this great disciple of Buddha.

Please bring flowers for the buddha pooja and vandana.

hante Henepola Gunaratana (affectionately called as Bhante G) is the founding abbot of the Bhavana Society, West Virginia. Bhante G is an internationally renowned writer and a meditation teacher. He is well known for authoring the great meditation manual, Mindfulness In Plain English and its companion Eight Mindful Steps to Happiness. As a meditation teacher he emphasizes on both samadhi (concentration) and metta (the cultivation of loving-friendliness). Bhante Guneratne's direct and compassionate style of teaching soothes the minds of both young and old.
"The Buddha's message was simple but profound. Neither a life of self-indulgence nor one of self-mortification can bring happiness. Only a middle path, avoiding these two extremes, leads to peace of mind, wisdom, & complete liberation from the dissatisfactions of life."
~Bhante Gunaratana
